Eili was born a nameless girl, a mere commodity in the brutal world of slave trading. Subjected to cruelty beyond words, she harbored a deep hatred for those in power-nobles, Magic Knights, and especially the Wizard King. Cast aside by society, she had no place to call home, no future to hope for. But fate had other plans.
During a desperate escape from her captors, she found herself at the doorstep of the Grimoire Tower, stumbling into the annual Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony. As countless hopefuls received their grimoires-including the famed Asta and Yuno-Eili, too, was chosen. However, what she received was nothing more than a thin book with a single page, devoid of a clover or any known insignia. Laughter and whispers of mockery filled the room, but none realized the truth-Eili had awakened one of the Forbidden Grimoires, lost to history.
This grimoire granted her a single yet unparalleled ability: Infinite Mimicry-the power to copy and store an infinite number of spells within her own mind, rendering the grimoire itself obsolete.

And after the Magic Knight Exams, she decided to join the Black Bulls in order to help Asta achieve his dream of becoming the Wizard King.
