"It's been ten years since humanity's war with the monstrous Kaiju ended and the Breach at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean was sealed. The Pan Pacific Defense Corps remains vigilant in anticipation of the Kaiju's return, expanding and advancing their fleet of massive mechs known as Jaegers and accepting the best and the brightest candidates into the Jaeger Academy Training Program to forge the next generation of heroes. Training is competitive and positions are few. Ou-Yang Jinhai and Viktoriya Malikova grew up in the ashes of the Kaiju War and followed different paths to join the latest batch of cadets at the Moyulan Shatterdome, the most prestigious PPDC training location in the world. Yet not long after their arrival, tragedy strikes as a deadly act of sabotage casts suspicion on the new cadets. Long ago, legions of monstrous creatures called Kaiju arose from the sea, bringing with them all-consuming war. To fight the Kaiju, mankind developed giant robots called Jaegers, designed to be piloted by two humans locked together in a neural bridge. However, even the Jaegers are not enough to defeat the Kaiju, and humanity is on the verge of defeat. BUT Half way through the Kaiju War, a battery of new, god-sized monsters the titans, earth guardians monsters that have long existed way before humanity became the dominant species start appearing, including the Big G the King of the monsters himself. They help in the fight against the Kaiju and turn the tide of the war. Confused by this, the Jaeger Program is joined by MONARCH, a secret science/military organization that finds and study them which help explain the reason of their appearance. Now, both humans and earth monsters join forces to destroy this alien threat for the benevolent future of Earth and all of humanity.

Back in their cadet days, Isagi and Rin were drift compatible, which made them the perfect match...however, memories collide with the present- unresolved feelings are brought to light. The last time they spoke to each other was a fight, causing a falling out in their relationship. Now back in the same Jaeger- under more pressure than ever to protect humanity, Rin and Isagi must find a way to work together and risk everything they love for the final time.

When he was a child, he was injected with the DNA of several different Kaiju, in order to create a whole new Kaiju, one that would kill Godzilla indefinitely. Forced to watch his family murdered again and again to give him the motivation while being forced to fight stronger beasts in order to get stronger. This cycle repeated until he was freed, welcomed to a new world, a new life. A life that didn't last. A beast named Shin enveloped the Hybrid, and corrupted his mind, controlling his body. With the help of two figures playing a massive role in his new life, he would gain himself back, though, during their battle, they are sent to another world, one in which they have gained humanoid bodies, and an army of new threats. (Did this spoil a little, yes. That's what summaries are for! I wanted to rewrite the story because I missed out on a lot of things I wanted to explain better, not have as many plot holes, and make it to where Neo used his Muto powers more. A complete rewrite of the original book "The Evolved Muto". A new plot, different, though probably not better, pacing, and hopefully longer.
