Louis starts college in San Diego and joins a new friend group who are completely wild and unpredictable. They love chaos, parties and adventures. One day they make a total disaster at a gas station, destroying a car that belonged to a powerful person who's identity is unknown. They started receiving notes and letters from this person in which they were threaten to be handed over to the police, revealing what they did, and most importantly destroying Harry's career as a singer and completely ruining his reputation. This person gives them missions to complete in order to save their lives, undergoing wild experiences.
Someone mysteriously dies, nobody knows how or who did it. The group tries to find out what happened and discover the powerful guy's identity, who is a suspect.
Louis has a secret relationship with Harry, a cocky troublemaker, who's also a famous singer. When the school finally finds out about them in the most unexpected way everything turns into chaos, including lots of gossip and Harry coping with it in a betraying way.
Louis' new friend group keeps a lot of secrets and mysteries he has discover, including their fascination for the color red, and trouble from their past.
This book is filled with drama, adventures, friendship, mysteries, suspense, love and surprises.

Harry wants Louis, but refuses to let that happen. The last thing he needs is a relationship with a strongheaded asshole. But as Louis begins to chip away at Harry's resolve to stay away, Harry begins to bring down those walls around the other's heart. Will they let go of their stubborn ways and grow closer together?
