He's assigned to Prince Kai-heir to the throne and charming in his cockiness. Things go well at first, but then danger once again emerges-this time inside the royal family's inner circle. (May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. A long time ago when the First Spinjitsu Master was present. A companion of his was there to protect him when he needed it the most and helped provide light to Ninjago, the place that the master created before disappearing. The guardian then decided that it was time to rest after serving its master. So, the guardian proceeded to a temple to rest and said these words, "The person who shall have my powers will be the guardian of the green ninja and its protectors. May the light guide you through your journey." At that, the Guardian of Light finally rested with his master leaving Ninjago to advance on its own and to hope that future heroes will protect what the two left for the next generation.Complete
