Kelurahan Langkong (English)

On the outskirts of a city surrounded by luxury, a child from a pre-prosperous class grows up with vast knowledge but few opportunities. In their small home, amidst cramped space and economic pressure, they witness how their father works as an uncontracted laborer and their mother as a domestic worker, struggling to keep their family afloat. Their aging grandfather becomes both caretaker and closest companion, often buying small snacks as a source of comfort amid their hardships. While grand malls and lavish cafés stand not far from their home, social inequality seems like an invisible wall separating their dreams from reality.
