He came with a broken heart,
She didn't flinch, she didn't run-
She stood still, unafraid,
Not to judge, but to offer a hand.
She stayed, stitching the broken pieces of him
She dance with his silhouette unaware of the danger
Until the wound heal
Until the chain of sadness disappear.
Seeing his smile back became her sunlight,
And in his warmth, she forgot the danger.
With him, everything felt fine-
Until it wasn't
He engraved wounds into her soul with his careless actions,
Drowned her in promises never kept.
