"you must be Lydia?"

"...yes!"

the gushing wind that blew past her black curly hair, making it go south with it's natural waves.

Her dark green eyes twitch as the air dries them up, the moonlight that cuts through the building behind her illuminated her body, which makes it clearer for the eyes.

Her face remains black, her hair shading it from the moons beautiful light blue ray, her eyes are now like fireflies...

she can never understand why he moves like a corpse about to collapse, and his dangerous attempts to send her six feet under, was a story for another day.

tired of facing her, he turns around and walks forward.
her eyes glistening with tears from her silent laughter, tears of joy actually.

she jogs, and catches up to him...her hands behind her as she plays with her fingers.

"The American skies are a lot more beautiful in the night time..."

She whispers•••

She sighs deeply and scans the area, noting that several women are standing next to her but none of them she knows well enough to strike up a conversation with. She turns to face the balcony, where the rope of lights has captured her attention greatly. She then softly moves towards the balcony after turning to gaze at her husband once more, who is still engaged in his work. She exhales heavily because she is no longer in this mechanical setting and grins as she observes the sparkling light. She is now incredibly relieved. She is suddenly covered by a jacket. "It's very cold here... " "Yup, it is too cold here... " She makes a remark to him and then quickly shifts her gaze away; she dislikes his erudite gaze. When he smirks and moves in her direction after understanding what she meant, she quickly retreats. She tries to stop him by putting her hand on his chest, but he continues to move until her back touches the railing. At that point, he cages her and says as he puts his hands on both sides. "Look at me... " She tries to get away, nevertheless, by maintaining both hands on his muscular chest. "Nikalna itna aasan nahi humari qaid se..." She inflates her eyes and briefly fixes them on him, but because she can't look into his eyes, she quickly starts averting them. But this time he holds her face and looks into her eyes.

"Not really," he muttered. "Are you sure?" and he nodded. "It looks a bit swollen. It might've come from when you hit the ground or, something... I don't even know. It's just a small bruise, though, so I guess it's okay?" "Thanks, Doctor," he teased, and she pouted, the warmth of her skin leaving as she settled back into her seat. "How is it my fault you like to fight?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and he fully leaned in. His hand was no longer on the edge of the back cushions; rather, it had moved to her thigh. "How is it my fault you look good tonight?" he whispered in her ear. #1 Steamy on October 13, 2018-October 18, 2018 #2 Steamy September 25, 2018 Sena Mcginley was a beautiful child. Her dark blonde hair always had wavy curls and she had sapphire eyes that looked like they were made of glitter. She was smart, fun and a little on the wild side during her childhood. She had a lot of friends which included Jennifer and Bethany. These two girls were as much fun as Sena and were equally as beautiful. They were special to Sena but neither was her best friend. That honor belonged to Grant Dalton. Her best friend since first grade. He was quiet and reserved but popular as the school quarterback. He didn't get into the drinking and partying as much as his teammates. Girls fell to his feet and that was his favorite part of high school. He had dirty blond hair, light blue eyes, his eyelashes so long he looked like he wore eyeliner. His six foot three-inch frame towered over Sena at five foot five. The two met when Jake pushed Sena off the swings. Grant rushed over and pushed Jake down and helped Sena back on the swing. From that day forward he was her protector and best friend. He had a habit of sneaking into Senas room at night and the two spent hours talking and laughing. She would give him advice about girls and he, of course never approved of her dating anyone. She was too perfect to trust any guy alone with her and this irritated Sena. What happens when the two are separated by college and the military? What happens when she returns to his life for all the wrong reasons? https://w.tt/2yJYTwm Edited by @hannahbananalc Copyright © 2020 by Grace Madden All Rights Reserved.

"Clementine..." his voice is gentle, as though he's reading my mind. He searches my eyes, concern seeps through his features. I swallow the lump in my throat. I don't like this display of affection. I can take care of myself, I don't need his or anyone's help. "I'm fine. I can take care of myself," my voice wavers towards the end, making me doubt myself. Can I? If he hadn't been there, I could be dead. He steps towards me and tucks a hair strand from my face behind my ear, eyes still locked on mine. A shiver runs down my spine at his touch, I'm completely captivated. He nods and caresses the side of my face. I subconsciously nuzzle my face into the palm of his hand, his touch spreads a surprising warmth across my entire body. "I know you can..." he says softly, "You just don't have to." --- Being the daughter of a famous celebrity is a great thing, for most. For Clementine? Not so much. Clementine Charmant has been hiding from the public eye since the tormenting events of her childhood. It's for her own safety and protection, her mother tells her. And it's true. She knows what he is, she knows who he is, and she knows what he's capable of. She's content with her life in New York. For the most part. She has a good job... An awesome and loyal best friend who lives thousands of miles away... And a plan. A plan to breeze through senior year unobtrusively and start fresh at Columbia University after graduating. When Clementine receives striking news that she would be moving back to LA for her senior year; to where her best friend is, to where everything happened, to where HE is... She is more than conflicted. Will a year in the place she used to call home change her plans and life forever?
