"You've got that look again," Rex murmured, his gaze never leaving the dense canopy outside.

Cody's eyes flicked to him, his expression unreadable. "What look?"

"The one that says you've got something on your mind, but you're not sharing it."

Cody let out a short breath, half chuckle, half sigh. "Just thinking about how predictable these missions have become. The Separatists attack somewhere remote. We find them. We take out whatever they're bring our way. Simple, right?" He leaned back against the wall of the shuttle. "Except, this one doesn't feel simple."

Rex frowned, his mind racing through the variables. He didn't need a bad feeling to know that the Separatists would be expecting them. Muras wasn't a vacation spot-it was a republic military intelligence bank, and they'd be lucky if they didn't walk right into a seperatist trap.

"Just stay sharp," Rex said, his voice low and purposeful. "We move fast, hit them hard, and regain control of the citadel... Nothing we haven't done in our sleep, '' he added, much to the ease of the men.

_______________________________________________________________________________

he paused, his gaze flickering to the dense jungle around him. "General, there's something off about the situation on the ground here. It's too quiet with no seppies in sight. The air's thick with... something. Like we're being watched. But we've found signs of something else-heavier, more dangerous, and tracks from a life form too big to be human, perhaps separatist spies. We're not just dealing with battle droids this time. There's something alive out here...''He paused, unsure whether it was entirely professional to report though instincts rather than evidence, then murmured,'' And I don't think it's friendly."

Cody was used to looking after his younger brothers. It wasn't easy but he could manage. He's been looking after Bly since he was five. Then came Rex, then Wolffe. And then Fox. By the time, Cody moved out and didn't hesitate to take his little brothers in. They were better off with him than Jango. Then he found Jesse on his doorstep and not even a year later, Kix was also left at his door. Cody kept them, of course, but he called Jango and gave him a piece of his mind about leaving infants on the pavement in front of his doors. That was the last time Cody has heard of him. The next addition to his chaotic little family came in the forms of Fives and Echo. And it wasn't Jango this time who dropped them at Cody's, it was some poor girl that had the misfortune of meeting Jango in a bar. Apparently, Jango refused to have anything with her or their children but he was kind enough to give her Cody's number. Asshole. He learned of Wooley's existence through a social worker because apparently Jango left the baby alone at home for an entire day and someone heard him crying. Cody was officially done with him. Or so he thought. Because that was Jango knocking on the door and he had another baby in his arms. Just what Cody needed. #1 rankings that I might have or might not have lost: #1 in rexsoka #1 in codywan #1 in bly #1 in jango #1 in kid-fic You know the drill, I don't own Star Wars, the only thing I own is the plot and my OCs etc.

"General Windu assigned a Jedi to us for this mission," Hunter stated. "Oh, how fabulous." Crosshair grumbled. "Do we know anything about this Jedi?" Tech inquired. "No," Hunter replied. "So we won't be able to blow anything up?" Wrecker asked sadly. "Oh, you'll be able to blow something up." Fives grinned as he walked up to them. "And how do you know that?" Tech questioned just as a shuttle zoomed onto the landing deck. The ramp to the shuttle lowered and the famous Jedi general Mace Windu walked down the ramp beside another Jedi in bronze armor. Lighting flashed across the sky as the rain poured down upon the two Jedi. "That Is Jedi General Celine Kryze and she is far from the normal Jedi." Fives nodded as he walked away. The sound of metal clanking against mental as the Jedi approached. "Master Kryze this is the squad I was telling you about." General Windu nodded. "I see, you must be the sergeant of this squad," Celine confirmed. At a very young life, Celine Kryze vowed to live by the Jedi code, but that changes when she meets a small boy from a desert planet named Anakin Skywalker. "My lineage is a well known one, for both good and bad reasons. But I don't let it define me." "That is an admirable quality Ratheon. But unfortunately, certain Council Members will always see you as a dangerous man." "Then that is their mistake to make. My blood does not define me, but it does give me guidance. I may be descended from a powerful Sith Lord, but I am also, a Jedi Master's Son. Satele Shan's, Son." ~~~~~~~ The Old Republic. An age where when danger and mystery was at every turn. But the most common thing that the Old Republic was known for, was the constant battle between Light, and Dark. Satele Shan, Grandmaster of the Jedi Order, and a devout Jedi. Born as a descendant of Revan and Bastilla Shan, she carved out her path as a true Jedi, one that would strive to serve the Galaxy, like all Jedi should. But what if, she had a Padawan? And what if that Padawan...was her Son? Ratheon Shan... Like his Mother, Ratheon was a devout Jedi, and served the Jedi Order with unwavering loyalty, and especially, the cause that his Mother drilled into him when he was a mere child? After the attack on the Jedi Temple by the fierce Sith Lord, Darth Malgus, and his subsequent defeat on Alderaan, the Sith Empire ramped up their attacks on both the Jedi, and the Republic. As such, Satele chose to both safeguard the order, and save her Son. Freezing him in Carbonite, the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order believed that no matter what happened, her Son would safeguard the Jedi Order they had both sworn to protect, through his unique, and rather..."grey", attitude... But before he was frozen, Ratheon revealed to his Mother...that he had a son, and that he wished to adopt a new last name, that last name that he had chosen for his son. The name in question? Skywalker... ~~~~~~~~~~ AGAIN, NOTHING BELONGS TO ME EXCEPT MY OC CHARACTERS.
