The rent and price of basic needs had been rising while workers had been paid less. Same with their day-to-day missions. No one wants to hire "mutants" for normal work these days. Gem glances back up to the bulletin board, noticing a new paper. Gem stands up and rushes to the board, stopping in front of the paper. Impulse and Skizz follow her gaze before Skizz stands up and walks over to Gem, trying to read it too. Impulse remained seated, only watching the two.
