Ongoing - This is a book that I've been working on for a while. I will be posting more chapters so if that's what you are worried about when starting it. No need to worry. Thank you so much for reading. In the kingdom of Aethera, where dragonriders serve as the elite military force, Ironclaw Academy trains the next generation of warriors to bond with the powerful dragons that will become their partners in both battle and life. The academy's rigorous training prepares cadets for the bond that will shape their destiny-the deep, magical connection between dragon and rider that turns them into a united force like no other. Sable Veyne, a fierce and determined young cadet, is ready to prove herself. With a passion for dragons and a thirst for greatness, she is determined to master the Draconic Bonding and Communication and become a Dragonrider, but her journey is complicated by the presence of Adrian Velker, a brooding and competitive cadet who is as skilled as he is infuriating. Their rivalry is legendary, built on years of tension and the constant clash of their personalities. The cadets are not just training for mastery-they are training for survival. Dark forces rise from the Wastes of Daemonis, home of the Darkspawn, blood-magic wielders who control dragons of darkness, and they are intent on shattering the fragile peace. When Sable and Adrian forced into a dangerous mission together, their rivalry escalates into something more-an undeniable attraction born of the shared perils of battle, a connection that neither can deny.

Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
