Not fate, just Koko

Koko has always been alone, but never lonely-at least, that's what she tells herself. She drifts through life like a spectator, untouched and unbothered, her sharp tongue and sharper mind keeping everyone at arm's length. She moves with purpose, but only she knows where she's going.

Nova, as everyone calls him-is the same, but different. Distant in a way that's not intentional, lost in a world only he seems to understand. He doesn't care for attachments, doesn't care for much at all. Yet, for some reason, he sees Koko.

Two lives running parallel, two solitudes that should never intersect-until they do. A quiet glance, an unspoken understanding, a pull neither of them wants to acknowledge. And Koko, always one step ahead, has a plan. Because love isn't something she believes in, but control? Now, that's a different story.
