Genevieve Selwyn was an ambitious girl...I mean of course she was, she's a Slytherin after all. She wanted greatness, power and everyone's envy and admiration. But one thing she wanted above all...was to piss off Theodore Nott.

The two Hogwarts students had been at each others throats the moment they'd both been sorted into Slytherin. Enemies. Rivals. No punches were ever pulled when it came to them.

Maybe if they said an insult so unforgivable, so cutting, so full of spite, it would finally damp down how attractive they found eachother....

Theo was shaking with barely restrained fury as he towered over her. His voice was eerily and ominously calm when he spoke.
"Do you think its funny, Selwyn? That I had to watch that prick with his hands all over you? Did that amuse you?" His voice got louder as he spoke, slowly losing his composure.

Genevieve's eyes flashed in defiance as she tilted her head up, fearless, unwavering.
"If you don't want to watch, then close your fucking eyes", she bites back, her voice low and taunting.

Theo eyes blaze with unbridled fury. He gripped her chin roughly in his hand pushing her back into the door making a huff of breath leave her lungs.
"Fuck you, Genevieve. Fuck you and your big mouth and your stubborn streak a mile wide!"

In a world torn apart by darkness and strife, Y/N and Theodore Nott find themselves on opposite sides of a battle neither asked to fight. Y/N has devoted herself to the resistance, a fierce believer in freedom and justice, unyielding even as the war claims the lives of those she holds dear. Theo, burdened by the legacy of a family steeped in darkness, walks a treacherous path-caught between a past he cannot escape and a future he does not dare to dream of. They should hate each other. They should see only an enemy when their paths collide. But in the shadows of war, where trust is a rare commodity and hope is an act of rebellion, Y/N and Theo discover something unexpected: a bond forged in fire, stronger than the forces that seek to tear them apart. Amid secrets, betrayal, and the relentless march of war, they must decide what matters most-loyalty to a cause or the love they never thought they'd find. Because in the end, even in the darkest of times, the heart has a way of finding the light. This is a short story. Prequel to Telling them the truth - Reunions --- She looked down at her plate. She wasn't hungry at all. She didn't want to eat, but she had to. She had to be here for Melody. Melody needed her. Or she needed someone. Someone that could take care of her. She didn't eat at all. After the feast, Draco waited outside the Great Hall. She walked towards him. He noticed and began to speak before she could. "Hey, I'm sorry for all those years and so are my friends. We just didn't know any better then because we were raised that way." "Like I said, I already forgave you." She answers him. "Now, do you want to go to our common room and dorms?" "I would like that." He answers with a small smile. "You didn't look surprised when McGonagall said I was the head girl. How come? I wasn't on the train ride you couldn't have known." "McGonagall told me on the train. Because you weren't there and she thought it was necessary for me to know before the announcement in the Great Hall. And besides, who else could be head girl? You have the highest scores in every subject! I can't even beat you!" He answered desperately, but it was obvious that he was acting like it. "Come on. It's on the seventh floor. It is hidden behind a painting. It's near the Room of Requirement" she points out. "Wasn't that destroyed by Crabbe?" 'He can't know that it still exists. He'd find out about Melody...'She thought."Yeah, I meant, where it was." She say with doubt in her voice. He must have noticed because he looks at her with a raised eyebrow. "What, did I say something wrong? " Hermione asks him. "No, but you weren't sure. That's not like you at all." "War changed us all, that includes me" she sighs. --- Couples Theo X Astoria Blaise X Pansy Draco X Hermione

Selene Laurier never expected to end up at Hogwarts. Raised in France, she had spent most of her magical education at Beauxbatons Academy, excelling in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts. But when her parents had to relocate to Britain for their work at the Ministry, she found herself transferring to Hogwarts in the middle of the school year. Sorting was quick Slytherin. No surprise there. She was ambitious, cunning, and fiercely determined, though not unkind. What did surprise her was the housing arrangement. Due to an administrative error, she was placed in the boys' dormitory specifically, Draco Malfoy's room. Draco was livid at first. Sharing his space with a girl? A new student? A French girl who had no idea how things worked at Hogwarts? He made his displeasure clear, throwing cold remarks her way, expecting her to wither under his sharp tongue. But Selene was unimpressed. She met his arrogance with amusement, his biting words with effortless retorts. At first, they were at odds he resented the intrusion, and she refused to let him intimidate her. But soon, small things began to shift. Late-night conversations when neither could sleep. Unspoken understanding in shared glances. Draco found himself drawn to her confidence, to the way she carried herself with quiet strength. She, in turn, saw the cracks in his armor the loneliness beneath the bravado, the weight of expectations he bore. What began as a mistake a logistical error in housing turned into something neither of them could have anticipated. And as their feelings grew, so did the complications. Because Draco Malfoy was never meant to fall for someone who challenged him, and yet... he couldn't help it.

A Theodore Nott Love Story. *** Everything isn't what it seems. *** "Lies! It's all lies, Theo!" I raised my voice, tears brimming the edge. "What do you mean?" He furrowed his brows, even more confused. "It- I-" I shook my head trying to think of the words to say. "Well tell me!" His voice cracked as it raised. I looked away. I had to. I couldn't watch him break and he couldn't see me shatter. "This can't happen anymore. Goodbye, Theo." And I walked away. *** COVER BY: @-jesouffre Disclaimer: I only own Sadie Myers.
