This story has stupidity, student suffering, and suppressed emotions. It follows Lachlan Mills, a 17 year old boy, as he struggles with his last year of high school, expectations, sports (mainly AFL), friendships, feelings, and a whole lot of idiocy.
This is set in Australia so I'll defo put glossaries at the end of each chapter in case you don't know what something means.
There's a lot of bad language in this, it's pretty realistic for Aussie high schools though so sorry in advance. There are some serious themes like mental health, but a solid amount of humour too. Also this is technically bl, it'll take a while to get there tho but trust. (I will edit this when i figure out the extent of everything this story covers.)
Also i migth change this to mature age rating later.

How I got to date the loml
*for those who read the other, it's the same thing but better ✨, I'm re-writing the story, things that were canon before may not be anymore, I'm still bad at writing but better than b4 bc then I was 9th grade* Btw I know barely anything 'bout sports. So if I mess up anything sport-related I'm sorry. Jack is the main character. He used to get bullied and abused but things change when he befriends his bully. His sister is a bitch and is part of the reason he is abused at home. Tom was Jack's bully 😔. We also follow his side of the story and see whatever problems he has going on at home. He finds out Jack has a problem and tries to help him, so they become friends. He is also struggling internally with smth. What is that thing? idk, figure it out. I'm not sure but I think its a slow burn you be the judge (I've decided to add a year to this story. It's 2025, remember this is my own universe so things are not as they'd be irl)
