Vi didn't know when it started.

Maybe it all started when Vander gave Vi her first phone one Christmas. She knew Caitlyn had one too, and what are phones for if not to stay connected?

Or maybe it all started when they saw each other again in that shared apartment in Vi's freshman year of college.

Or maybe when the heating in Caitlyn's room broke down and they had to share not just an apartment, but a room.
