Ricky Dagger. Inventor. Visionary. Genius. Had his share of problems- a missing father, a high body count (not the sexy kind, unfortunately), and a city full of idiots who didn't deserve his brilliance. But this guy? Victor?
Victor was his biggest problem.
Since freshman year, that bastard had been everywhere. Same classes. Same hallways. Same unsettling, ever-present smirk like he knew something Ricky didn't.
At first, it was annoying.
Then it was really annoying.
And now?
Now it was just creepy.
"Why won't you take a hint, dude?" Ricky huffed, crossing his arms. "Should I make you a PowerPoint presentation on personal space?"
Victor, as always, ignored him.
"You already know the answer to that." The taller man tilted his head, watching Ricky like he was some kind of science experiment.
Great. Now he was dealing with a six-foot-four stalker who just couldn't take a hint.
"You suck!" Ricky screeched. He was angry- furious, actually- because nothing he said ever got through to this guy.
Victor chuckled. Chuckled. Like Ricky was adorable instead of a mass-murdering mad scientist.
"I know you like me."
Ricky's face burned. He took several steps back in embarrassment, but Victor was always too close. Every time he tried to push this guy away, he just got closer.
And that ulterior motive lurking behind Victor's actions? Yeah. Ricky noticed it. Sure, Ricky was quite the catch if he had to say so himself- but Victor's obsession definitely went further than flirting.
He had been asking too many questions about things he should know nothing about. He made Ricky feel like prey. And Ricky hated feeling like prey.
Victor closed the distance, voice dropping low.
"And you're mine."
Okay. That was it. Ricky officially hated this guy.
