She tried helping macaws to fly to different climates until she took a blood sample and merge her invention with the macaws blood since most macaws weren't able to fly. It went horribly wrong when she tried it out because the blood sample merged with her DNA. The flying went alright but when she accidentally flew over a powerplant with extremely acid smoke coming out of it. She became sick and slowly turned into a macaw. She couldn't continue to aid the macaws from the government and then ended up getting sentenced to a secret facility since everyone saw her change of appearance and contacted the government.
