"Sometimes someone hurts you so bad, it stops hurting at all, until something makes you feel again, and then it all comes back. Every word. Every hurt. Every moment. How could you ever understand where I come from. Even if you ask, even if you listen, you're not really here, or see, or feel. You don't remember my story. You haven't walked my path. You haven't seen what I've seen." ~ Casey Doncaster. She is 15 years old and just moved into a new home in Long Valley, New Jersey. Originally from North Carolina, Casey was adopted at age 10 after her and her brother were rescued from the abusive home she came from. Casey and her 4 year old brother were seperated when she was adopted. 2 years later she found out that he died of lung cancer at only age 6. She now lives next to Ethan and Grayson Dolan. Her adoptive parents are best friends with the Dolan. Casey has a horse named Summer Breeze or Summer a Great Dane, one younger sister, and an older brother. She has just yet learned what her new neighbors have in store for her. @ All rights reserved. Quote from the short film ' Removed ' By Nathanael Matanick.

Lauren Jules, her twin sister Miranda, and their best friend Jake all grew up together in their own little world. Just three kids having the time of their lives. And then came the summer that changed everything. It was the summer Lauren fell in love with her best friend. It was the summer her family broke apart and she grew up. It was the summer Jake left. Now five years later, Jake is moving back and Lauren is determined to keep her guard up against the boy who stole her heart years ago. But Lauren's not the only one with something to hide, Jake seems to be fighting some demons of his own. His past has changed him from the happy-go-lucky kid he was, to a reckless guy with a smirk for a smile. And he's driving Lauren insane. ****** Excerpt from That Summer "Well I'm surprised," he drawled huskily, playing with a strand of my hair. "You acted like a natural last night." Oh. My. God. What did that even mean? He chuckled at my deer-in-headlights expression. There was no way I would not remember losing my virginity to Jake. Hell, I'd memorize every second of it. "What do you mean?" I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.
