Mark Smith is living a nightmare. He's in the eye of a savage (zombie) apocalypse in New York City. Him and his son were bit. His son already turned into a savage, but luckily it takes months to actually turn into one. There is apparently a cure that he doesn't know if it's a scam or not but it's his best bet, but it's expensive so he has no other choice than to join an organization that harvests savage organs for research and to donate some working organs to struggling humans because, why let that go to waste? But he runs into some different types of people and problems along the way. Will Mark have what it takes to save himself and his son? Or will he be left behind like rest of the damn savages?
Story I came up with for a project in English class but actually decided it pretty good so why not pursue writing it.
I will try to release as many chapters as possible whenever I'm free.

After an epidemic that gave half the population an incurable disease, only a few major cities remained. One of these included the wealthy city of Tallahassee, Florida, where they had the brightest minds looking for a cure. George Davidson was among those minds: his father was one of the richest people in the world prior to the outbreak and had sent George to one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country. Afterwards, after an incident that caused much grief in the Davidson family, George's father had set George on finding a cure. Finally, after four years of sleepless nights and painful losses, George had done it. He'd found the cure. But if that was the case, then why did he hire a coyote to smuggle him out of the city? Why did he run away with the only known cure for zombie-ism? They want their families back as they were but it is too hard for them to work together as they have misunderstandings and fights.
