Undead (CaitVi Fanfic)

The world has fallen into ruin. A devastating virus, unleashed by the infamous Silco, has turned most of the population into ravenous undead. Piltover's last bastion of survivors clings to order, but the infected breach their walls with each passing day. Desperate for a solution, Enforcer Caitlyn Kiramman seeks out an unlikely ally-Vi, a hardened prisoner from Zaun with a past as tangled as the ruins they now inhabit.

Vi, once a fierce fighter in the Undercity, was captured and branded a criminal. She has no love for Piltover, but when Caitlyn offers her a deal-help track down Silco, the one responsible for the apocalypse, in exchange for her freedom-Vi has little choice but to accept. Their hunt takes them through the infested streets of Zaun, where dangers lurk at every turn, not just from the undead but from desperate survivors and lingering betrayals.

At first, Caitlyn and Vi are at odds-one a disciplined officer, the other a reckless brawler. But as they fight side by side, tension simmers, turning into something far more dangerous than the virus itself. The lines between duty and desire blur, especially when Caitlyn begins to see Vi not as a criminal, but as a survivor-someone who has lost just as much as she has.

But time is running out. Silco is still out there, and the infection is spreading faster than they can contain it. The closer they get to their target, the more Caitlyn begins to question: Is she using Vi as a weapon, or is she willing to risk everything-including her heart-to save her?
