Maria has been abused and mistreated her whole life by a father that refuses to accept her. She holds some sort of ability that she has never understood and fears she is doomed to live a trapped and painful life. This all changes when she finds herself entwined with pirates and magic and her whole world is flipped on its side as she takes herself on a journey of self discovery and adventure and unexpected love.
