This story is taking place after the neutral ending. Basil has successfully commited suicide, and Sunny moved along with his mother. He has never abandoned headspace, and still deals with the guilt, now not just because of his sister, but also because of his best friend.

The 'Universe' Series, will most likely be a series about life after endings of Omori. After I finish this book, I plan on making a one after the Good ending, then the bad, and then the Neutral ending where Sunny as well commits suicide in his bed. I hope you all enjoy this series.
