Finn's therapist mentioned how dogs help relieve stress and anxiety. He personally didn't believe her at first, until a quick google search hit him in the face and laughed at his own foolishness. So of course, he had to go get a dog. The problem was finding the perfect one, they were just too skinny, or too fat, or some other weird problem like a too flat face. But that all changed when he saw the most beautiful, perfectly fluffy white dog one day..

Zev realizes just a second too late, and now he's trapped in the iron cage for measly dogs. He was forced to stay in his wolf form in order to not get caught by some lowly werewolf hunters who have nothing better to do in their pathetic lives. Everyday some expensive idiot will come and try to pet and purchase him, and everyday he made sure to bite back, hard. Until this anxious human who was looking like a baby deer that lost its parents approached him, with the softest, warmest eyes, and he decided at that moment maybe being a dog isn't that bad if he gets to stay with him..

Follow this unlikely pair as their paths intertwine over each others, again and again.

Kyan, beta of a wolf shifter pack, is second-in-command and fiercely dedicated to his role. Heartbreak and years of chasing an elusive soulmate have left him jaded, his patience thin with his packmates. Trust is a luxury he no longer affords, and he fills his spare hours with casual company, resigned to a life without deeper joy. When the alpha's little sister returns after four years of training, she's not the kid he remembers. Her time away has shaped her in ways he can't quite pin down. Could her presence shake up his guarded routine-or will it just be another reminder of what he's given up on?
