The Mojave Campaign was meant to expand the NCR further west, gaining land and a city that could elevate the nation even further. 20 years later and hundreds of thousands of dollars down the drain and it has nothing to show for it except for the dead buried in the sands of Nevada and a treaty that net them losses rather than gains. This is the story of a common soldier that's there as tensions rise and a new faction bearing the name of an ancient empire enters joins the table.

As she cautiously holds him at gunpoint she explains the story behind the incredible animal before allowing him to go on his way. In the hours and days following the encounter he can't decide if this woman's presence in the same desolate, snow covered wilderness as he and the gang are in is mere coincidence or if there's more behind it than she's letting on. If it is pure coincidence that she's there than what is she doing alone on this frozen mountain? Whatever has brought her into his life he isn't sure but what he does know is he can't get her image out of his mind. Her intense red hair along with her piercing gaze that seems to stare right through him. As he attempts to find out more about her he convinces himself it's strictly out of caution.
