The Mojave Campaign was meant to expand the NCR further west, gaining land and a city that could elevate the nation even further. 20 years later and hundreds of thousands of dollars down the drain and it has nothing to show for it except for the dead buried in the sands of Nevada and a treaty that net them losses rather than gains. This is the story of a common soldier that's there as tensions rise and a new faction bearing the name of an ancient empire enters joins the table.

They are cold, hungry and unsure of what their futures hold. As Arthur Morgan is out desperately trying to track down game to bring back and feed to the starving gang he stumbles across an animal unlike any even he, in all of his travels, has ever seen before. As he crouches in the snow, his focus in its entirety directed at the animal before him, a stranger catches him by surprise. A WOMAN. As she cautiously holds him at gunpoint she explains the story behind the incredible animal before allowing him to go on his way. In the hours and days following the encounter he can't decide if this woman's presence in the same desolate, snow covered wilderness as he and the gang are in is mere coincidence or if there's more behind it than she's letting on. If it is pure coincidence that she's there than what is she doing alone on this frozen mountain? Whatever has brought her into his life he isn't sure but what he does know is he can't get her image out of his mind. Her intense red hair along with her piercing gaze that seems to stare right through him. As he attempts to find out more about her he convinces himself it's strictly out of caution. It's his responsibility to make sure that she's harmless and poses no threat to them but somehow deep down he already knows the only thing she poses a threat to is his heart. Fallout is more about the people and communities that try to move forward after a nuclear devestation, those who thrive, and then those who are drifting off, and those who have hit such a bottom that they have no further to fall. Many communities will rise from the nuclear ash for most to fail. In this world, there are no good guys; there are no bad guys. Everyone is just trying to get by and survive. The story takes a first-person point of view from a character who is pushed out of her home and into an unknown world. This world is mostly under control by two main factions at war though; one being the self-proclaimed United States and the other being the self-proclaimed owners of the counter, the Enclave. This story has many ups and downs and level offs. It has frustrations, situations, shows emotion, and thinking of the main character. It will read dynamically in its speed and depth in specific details as this girl looks for a new home in the post-nuclear wasteland in the year of 2300.Complete
