"The Price of Peace" follows Thomas, a young man left to navigate the aftermath of his older brother Adam's death in World War I. Raised in a broken family, Thomas's father abandoned them years ago after a violent episode where Adam saved their mother from a brutal attack. Adam, the courageous and favored son, enlisted in the war, while Thomas who has always been opposed to violence did not.
Thomas now must step into a role he never anticipated, his mother weakened by illness is now unable to care for herself, and his brother is gone. Thierry now must navigate how to provide for his family, and who he is as a man.
