****Original story with art****Following a Commanding Officer in the aftermath of a 'first contact with an Alien Race gone wrong' future scenario- Allegiance is a defining Space Opera of sorts pushing the boundaries of Love, Loss, Madness, and Trust. At least 7 months of her life is missing. The reality she believes she lived, her love, her mission, her unit- after waking up from being killed-she is told none of it ever existed. Complicated family and politics run deep as she attempts to find proof of either truth she is given.
The most challenging part of this story is Love. Can you fall into true love with someone that you have never seen? Never heard the sound of their voice? Never read a note written in their hand? Is mere presence enough? Or is it all just make believe?
