Notable for being the ultimate human weapon of the Sand Village and a quiet priestess bound by strict temple laws, Gaara and Aeri form an accidental bond that neither of them saw coming. Gaara sees her as a sudden, impossible warmth in a world that has only ever offered him cold isolation and deadly sand, while Aeri sees him as a fiercely misunderstood boy hiding behind walls he doesn't know how to lower. Of course, the rest of the world judges him as a monster way too fast, and they don't really know the soft heart beneath the storm. But what happens when they do?
