But William's greed to breathe drove him to Sunless, the land of eternal darkness, where he sought the help of Griffin, the ruling wizard, to end the cursed circle of his deaths. But Sebastian John, sensing William's absence, awoke early to bring him back before the fifth day of the eleventh month.
