They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. Toy Pianos: An Undertale Neutral Genocide Story
This story is inspired by SharaX's song Toy Pianos. It is an Undertale related fan story at the end of a route where only Papyrus is spared, and Alphys is too afraid to leave the true lab. Sans and Papyrus have no way of contacting her so soon Papyrus loses his mind after only having Sans to talk to (and Sans sleeps out of the depression he has, so he doesn't talk much) and he starts creating his personal world.
