Cassandra is a young woman with serious attachment issues to her ex boyfriend, Leon. After a long relationship ended after high school, she only finds one solution to get him back now that she's leaving their hometown to study her university career: to kidnap him. To her advantage, she has a rare superpower as an ancestral family secret: to shrink anything she wants, but not to grow it back.
Executing her plan, the reunited couple struggles to fix their relationship, but as they learn that Leon's health deteriorates without Cassie's body heat, they are forced to stay close to each other at all times. Meanwhile, Cassie tries to find a way to revert the shrinking, and Leon has to deal with traumas from his past.
This is a fantasy/mythological novel set in a modern world I'll be creating in the interludes. Our plot will eventually include more magical elements as well as some side political drama.
