Izzy is a 16 year old girl living in Ash City, where Everything is forgotten at midnight on New Year's Eve. This phenomenon happens every year to all 150 residents of Ash City. They rely on envelopes which are delivered to each household containing some basic information provided by the government to get back to living life after the forgetting. Izzy isn't like everyone else, she writes. Every single day Izzy writes a detailed summary of everything that happened in a notebook so that she can remember. Knowledge is power. Izzy refuses to let the government steal her power, she has no proof that they are truly behind this phenomenon but she knows they are and she is the only one who can stop them.
