Setsuko Suzuki, a normal 18 year old girl, led her life working at a pub to get money for college. Turns out, her mother's boyfriend had spent it all in gambling, but little did she know that her life was going to turn upside down when an executive of Port Mafia secretly came to fetch her on the day she wanted to quit her job.
Chuuya Nakahara was an elite member of the Port Mafia. On Mori Ougai's orders, he went to fetch the ability user he wanted as soon as possible, before the detective agency could get their hands on her. Being a tough and lonely man was normal to him, but his feelings suddenly got twisted on meeting Setsuko Suzuki, the ability user the Port Mafia was looking for.
After the fall of the Decay of Angels, a new villain has arisen, who holds a strange grudge against the Port Mafia, and wants to see them get destroyed.
Chuuya and Setsuko are instructed to pair up to defeat this person, and save the Port Mafia. Will Chuuya be able to defeat his loneliness and consider Setsuko for himself? Will they be able to defeat the enemy together?
