After humanity's 10 year long discovery of a new element hiding within the depths of the ocean, we've decided to conquer more efficient space travel. We spent another two decades advancing our space travel, and we soon found a dormant plant that rests outside our solar system not affected by the suns gravitational pull. It didn't take long before we reached the planet we soon called Plutus as we found a substance that resided on the celestial body that would change science as we know it.
This new substance now named Chemical C had the property of genetically combining two separate organisms DNA together and putting it through rapid evolution. It didn't take long until people starting making biological weapons with the Chemical C. Combining inanimate objects with animals making devastating creatures that had fire power equal to a military squadron. It took only 2 years for the mutated animals to escape and start reading havoc. Soon a war took place between humans and the first wave of mutated creatures. However, this war led to the detonation of the only Chemical C storage facility that caused it to spread throughout the whole world infecting and mutating ever living creature that had exposure to it. The story follows 150 years after the Takeover . . .

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. "Daddy, please don't turn off the lights. The monsters will find me." Ana pleaded as she pulled the covers up to her nose. "Don't worry, Ana. There's no such thing as monsters." Frank answered before flexing dramatically, earning a giggle from her, "Besides, if they tried to hurt you, I'd just beat 'em up!" "Promise?" "Promise." He kissed her forehead before he tucked her in and turned off the light. "Goodnight, angel." --- The world changed overnight. A mysterious system appeared in everyone's minds announcing the detection of a "Breach." Monsters unlike anything humanity had ever seen before began to emerge, immediately ending one-third of the world's population. And that was just in the beginning. Every father wants to be their daughter's hero. It's an unspoken rule written into every man's DNA. But most fathers aren't pitted up against eight legged abominations. Frank was just an ordinary man; no training, no experience, just depression and a four year old. Yet, he was all that stood between Ana and certain death. If that's the way it was, then he couldn't back down. He made a promise, and he would keep it or die trying. Luckily, the world wasn't entirely merciless. This "System" granted humanity a fighting chance: otherworldly gifts and powers that defied the laws of nature. While Frank's gift wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it did give him power. Power enough to hopefully keep his daughter safe, and punish the monsters that dared threaten her in the first place!

Synopsis -------------- "Let's leave my origins. We both have unspeakable origins. But the problem is I know of your origins. Galan of Taa." John said. Galactus' eyes squinted as John said his real name out loud. He never expected someone totally out of nowhere knew his actual name. "Never expected an unknown guy would know my origins. So what of it? I don't think it matters where I came from." Galactus replied. "It doesn't. You did what you had to do to survive. But the problem is you made a deal with the devil." John replied. Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming!!" ------------- When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. Disclaimer : I am not an economist so I might have done some mistakes in the economics section of the story. If you have suggestions to make it better you can leave in the comments. Warning - The MC won't be OP from the start itself and will grow to a powerful character in due time. The starting feels a bit weird because I am totally new to writing a novel and English is my second language. I don't have an editor so the conversations and descriptions might be little stiff. When an oblivious idiot takes credit for the invention of the third (and best functioning) model of the RCA, no one even so much as bats an eye, distraction. These models are the best of the best, at everything. Their muscle flexibility is 93% of ours, effectively eliminating non-realistic movement. They have software controlling their vocal output so that what they say always makes perfect sense, even in pronunciation. Everyone agrees on one thing: If they had a heart, they'd be just about human. And that's just it. Somewhere out there, the original prototype is running about, disguising himself as a normal gen3 RCA, when in reality, he's the only non-organic thing on earth to have emotion, and thought. The other RCAS are programmed to identify him as an immediate danger to the public. So he's always moving around. Looking for the finish to his one computer-made script, aptly called 'fate'.
