Kristian Bauer was raised on his grandfather's stories of honor and war, and tales of the Waffen-SS. His grandfather taught him skills his abusive father disapproved of, skills that could keep a young man alive.

The only light in Kristian's life is Lorelei, the woman who loves him and waits for his return. The one person who sees him for who he was, and not what the Reich demanded he become. The woman carrying his bloodline.
