It was odd, having someone disappear without warning.
The first person I've ever truly loved was now gone. It doesn't sit well, it feels wrong. It feels like a lie, like a scary story my mother would tell me to avoid very bad things. Like someone is trying to trick me, and he's simply visiting family. I keep telling myself this. I keep creating reasons for why he's gone.
Because I will never know why he left.
