The war was never theirs to fight-only to survive.

When Solmara falls to rebellion and ruin, Evie Carter and Leo Donovan are left with one goal: escape. She's an engineer with secrets. He's a drifter with nowhere to call home. Neither are warriors, but in a world collapsing around them, survival means risking everything.

Their only hope lies in Vassir's Gate, a distant safe haven whispered about in dying cities and fractured transmissions. But the road is treacherous. The enemy isn't just an invading army-it's the lawless chaos left in its wake. From burning airships to frozen wastelands, every step brings new dangers, new betrayals, and enemies determined to ensure they never make it out alive.

Through it all, Evie and Leo fight side by side-mismatched, stubborn, and unwilling to let the other fall. But trust is fragile, and love is dangerous when every mistake could mean death. As battles rage and desperation sets in, one question remains: will they reach safety together, or will the war break them before they ever see peace?

A steampunk sci-fi fantasy filled with adventure, peril, and slow-burning romance, Smoke & Gears is a story of survival, love, and the unbreakable bond between two souls in a world that refuses to let them go.

One July morning, a small rebel group led by Miles and Emi conducts a mission against the Supremacy, setting a building ablaze outside the city of Zafran. Miles immediately knows the airport is not a normal target. Something is wrong. Some of the rebels are hiding their true goal. He could ask-but Emi will not answer, and who is he to challenge his partner when he has secrets of his own, and doubts he cannot silence? On the outskirts of the city, a girl runs from her past. Her memories. Herself. She keeps moving to stay numb, but when she is forced to stop, the voices catch up. If she does not reach somewhere safe soon, she will shatter completely. The Supremacy has plastered the girl's face and name across the city. The only thing protecting young Inerts from their direct violence is their status as Fated-the youngest generation before complete infertility swept the nation. What will it take for the Supremacy to claim those it considers untouchable? It all starts with one fire. This is a slow-burn, multiple deep-POV literary dystopian novel about people who survive by carrying the consequences of their choices. Though the story includes rebellion and action, at its core it is an intimate love story shaped by miscommunication, fear, and loyalty-between people bound to each other and to one city. ⚡︎ ➹ ☍ Icons correspond to which POV the chapter is narrated by. In the aftermath of the events in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, V, a once-gritty mercenary with a deadly relic embedded in her mind, has miraculously survived a coma and found herself free from the looming specter of death. With the past finally behind her, V seeks to heal her fractured relationships and fulfill the promises she made in a city that never forgets. But fate has other plans when she reunites with Songbird, the enigmatic and fiercely intelligent hacker she once saved, now a fugitive from the NUSA. As they fight to stay ahead of Solomon Reed and NUSA agents, the two women grow closer, their bond solidifying in the fires of adversity. V finds herself caught between the crumbling remnants of her past and a future that promises love and safety in the arms of a woman who has her own demons. Amidst the chaos, V and Songbird escape Night City's relentless grasp and take refuge with the Aldecaldos, Panam Palmer's nomadic clan. What follows is a new chapter for V, where love, family, and redemption weave together. They marry, adopt two orphaned girls, and build a home that transcends the past they fought so hard to escape. But with danger ever on the horizon and the weight of their choices ever-present, V and Songbird will face a future full of new challenges-and the freedom that comes from creating their own destiny. In Echoes of the Moon, love is a battle worth fighting for, and sometimes the greatest victories come from choosing the family you make, not the one you're born into.

The year is 2117. The United States, up to this point, has been through three major World Wars. After World War III, the country didn't get much time to recuperate and reconstruct before a new foe surfaced and pushed all fifty states to their breaking point. Nine-foot tall Warriors known as the Jotunn Warriors were created, still a mystery to the remaining people of the United States--until now. States have been separated by color and traits and have their own strict rules for their inhabitants to follow and live by. Four out of fifty states remain, one of those being New York. Bay Zachary is an eighteen girl who lives in New York, a state now known as the Pure State. She has always felt out of place in her state and has a desire to venture past her state's borders. Bay gets a chance to escape the city with a Nebraskan rebel named Casper Bunk. Quickly, her self-desires to leave the deteriorating state turns into a mission to save her home state from the same fate of forty-five others. The Jotunn are eliminating states one-by-one, like dominoes toppling over. They must make an effort, no matter how minuscule the odds are to save what little is left. One nation? Under God? Indivisible? Liberty and Justice? The United States, only, the states were united no more, and they hadn't been for quite some time.
