Adrik, a cunning and ruthless operative, carries out the ultimate betrayal in a world where power is eternal. Tasked with delivering the body of the slain King Alaric to the Elven Council, he instead orchestrates a massacre that will shake the kingdom to its core. But Alaric is not dead. Together, the two men weave a web of deception, infiltrating the heart of Elven authority and unleashing a carefully planned act of destruction. As Adrik confronts the Elven King, tensions rise, and a single insult sparks an irreversible catastrophe. Explosions rip through the council chamber, obliterating centuries of rule instantly. Yet, amidst the chaos, the Dreamseed-a mysterious and powerful entity-vanishes without a trace, leaving behind only questions and unease. But Adrik's vengeance is not complete. With calculated brutality, he and Alaric leave a final message to the kingdom: the lifeless bodies of the council members displayed upon the city walls, their severed heads mounted atop the council chamber, a chilling testament to the fall of their regime. With the Elven capital descending into chaos, Adrik and Alaric vanish into the shadows, watching as the kingdom struggles to fill the void they have created. The Dreamseed remains a looming threat, and the world, once so sure of its rulers, begins to crumble. For power is never eternal. And those who believe otherwise will be the first to fall.
