In the 15th century, Maximilian "Max" O'Doherty, an adventurous and independent anthropomorphic rabbit, stumbles upon an ancient, forbidden map hidden in his town's library. The map hints at the existence of mysterious, undiscovered islands beyond the horizon-places thought to be mere myths. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Max sells everything he owns to purchase a ship and sets sail into the unknown.

His journey takes him across vast and treacherous seas, where each island holds secrets, wonders, and dangers beyond imagination. From lost civilizations to creatures of legend, Max faces challenges that test his courage, intelligence, and survival instincts. But as his adventure unfolds, he begins to realize there is a deeper mystery behind the map and his journey-one that could change everything he knows about the world.

With no way of turning back, Max must navigate the perils of the unknown, uncover the truth behind the islands, and ultimately discover the purpose of his own destiny.

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Ashlin Crest is not the chosen one-her twin sister Odella is. Blessed by the gods, Odella sets out on a quest to slay a vile beast. The world's continued peace relies on her success. Except she doesn't succeed. She returns home without completing her mission, a broken shell of the girl she once was. The world still needs saving, though, and when a descendant of the gods appears in Ash's tiny village with an offer, she follows him. To help the world, and to save her sister. But Ash isn't touched by the gods. She wasn't chosen, and there is more darkness in the world than she ever knew. Those she should be able to trust become enemies, and everything she knew about Sominox and its gods begins to fracture. Only with the help of friends from the unlikeliest of places can she hope to succeed in this quest. As it turns out, though someone unchosen may be exactly what the world needs to save it. **Thank you pennywithaney for the cover!**
