As a noble man's daughter, you were expected to think, act and look a certain way. Your whole life has been a set of strict rules and customs, thanks to your father. He is responsible for big contributions in the ongoing war of the fire nation and, being the right hand man of the fire lord.
His presence is required for all meetings related to the war, and then some. Which means you were at the royal palace more often than not, all that was required of you was sit, Don't speak unless spoken to and stay out of the way of those around you. Simple enough...that was, until the introduction of Azula, Ty Lee, Mai and.....Zuko, the crowned prince of the fire nation. Will you break out of your cage? Or are you doomed to live the life that was forged for you?

Flames Of Fate (Zuko X Reader)
There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know.
