From saving the entire galaxy to getting through the daily grind. As Rex gets to live the life he always wanted exploring the distant planets, uncovering mysteries, forming incredible friendships, suffer great losses, finding love, and face a great challenge from his past. All in the goal to become the best security officer in Starfleet...and hopefully not end up like a red shirt.

Not much has been explored in his origins but with the information I've gathered from novels, comics and the original animated series, I have written my own history for him. They took a spice freighter called the twilight were intercepted by seperitists. Their ship was damaged and caught in a weird portal that brought them to speeds beyond light speed. Count Dooku had no reason to chase after them thinking they perished from a possible destruction of their life support system.
