Selene Park moved to Korea because her dad and her grandparents (her dad's in-laws) wanted her to connect with her mother's culture. Having grown up with her dad's culture, they thought going to school in Korea, just like her mother had, would help her understand that part of herself. Her twin brother stayed behind with their dad, preparing to take over the family business once he's old enough.

Selene is the quiet type. She likes keeping to herself and doesn't let people in easily. She can come off as cold or distant when she's annoyed, but the truth is, she's a total sweetheart once you get past that tough shell. Her mom's dad, her grandfather, was the one who taught her how to ride a bike and even showed her a few tricks. Biking's always been her thing, and she still does it in her free time though no one at school knows that side of her. She likes to keep it low-key.

School is where Selene really puts her focus. She stays up late, skips sleep just to get her work done, and makes sure her grades are always at the top. Her dad tells her she doesn't need to worry about the family image, but she can't help it. After her mom passed away from cancer, Selene became even more determined to do her best and make her dad proud, even if he says she doesn't have to.

Her dad bought her a penthouse in Korea, where she moved in alone. She's cautious about letting anyone get too close, preferring to keep her space and focus on her studies. But as time goes by, she starts to meet new people, and little by little, she begins to open up.
