How far will you go to keep someone in your life?
Living with a socially adored twin brother who always gets chosen over himself had pushed Nick into the dephts of insecurity and fearing rejection, but when Nate brought home a gorgeous girl back to his apartment Nick instantly fell for the brunette beauty and wishes to take her out to dinner. Desperate and insecure; How does he manage to pop the question when all he could imagine was her rejecting him and walking out of his life forever? By pretending to be someone he knows always so confident and irresistible--his identical twin brother.
Furious at what Nick had done; Nate snapped at him. "Cancel the dinner! Or just go as Nick! Don't fucking use my identity to get yourself laid!"
Caught between rage and not wanting to lose the girl--and mostly being mocked for not being good enough to have someone liking him as himself--he lied about wanting his twin to be in a real relationship, instead of investing his life in random hookups and one-night-stands.
But it wasn't enough to convince Nate to not let the girl go, something dark in Nick snapped; he then reminded Nate of when he had ruined his previous relationships by sleeping with his girlfriends with the same motives--pretending to be the other twin. Guilty, Nate finally agreed, thinking maybe he really needed to make up for all the shit he's done to his twin brother.
What Nate hadn't realized is getting him a girlfriend wasn't part of the plan. Nick's plan was to save the girl his brother hooked up with because he wanted her, and couldn't let such beauty go to waste, no matter what it takes, no matter who he has to become.
