After 5 years, Lucera Velaryon returns to King's Landing, where she meets her mysterious and rigid uncle, Aemond Targaryen and his siblings again.
Despite all the difficulties, challenges and prohibitions, they fall in love. Aegon, Aemond's brother criticizes their relationship and he does everything to disconnect them and tries to win the girl's love. Suddenly, Lucera finds herself in a dangerous game, which is full of lies and intrigue, and she can't trust anyone. In the Dance of the Dragons, our best friend could become our fiercest enemy.
Meanwhile house Targaryen splits into two, and not everyone supports Rhaenyra's heir, so Lucera must fight on her mother's side against house Velaryth and her old friends.
Westeros is controlled by the Hightowers and some uncanny people appear in King's Landing. Moreover, Lucera and Aegon are getting closer to each other.
Could Lucera be correct on the battlefield and her own life too? Does she remain loyal to her old love, or this new flaming burns up everything? Will she decide well, even then it involves sacrifices?
