Cody's dad recently died of cancer after battling it for five years causing Cody to move because of painful memories. He enters a new school and meets four people, who will soon become his best friends. He battles high school bullies, hateful notes in his locker, and anxiety/insomnia. And decides to start a band with his 4 friends, Dan Clermont, Zach Dewall, and Maxx Danziger.
