Roman and Alec are forced to do their chemistry project in detention after school for getting in a brawl in chemistry class that same morning. When the solution explodes something changes in the air. The air turns pink. And when both boys smell it, they faint.

When they come to their senses and wake up, they look at each other and something happens. They both feel a sensation in their chests, but think nothing of it. Once they both go home afterward they both realize the sensation in their chests aches more and more the longer they are apart. The pain tortures them if they aren't in close contact.

But how can you be near someone you hate so much.
