In a world consumed by darkness and despair, Jonathan embarks on a journey not of heroism, but of vengeance and sorrow. Born into a cursed fate, he loses everything-his family, his love, and his kingdom-to the monstrous rulers of the land. Armed with the Black Shield, a weapon as powerful as it is cursed, he sets out to hunt down the Seven Beast Kings, each a nightmare given form.

As he carves his way through the horrors of the world, Jonathan slowly loses himself to the darkness within. Betrayal, illusions, and the weight of his own past haunt him, blurring the line between man and monster. But even after slaying the last of the Beast Kings, he finds no salvation-only an empty, broken world and the ghost of the woman he could not save.

This is a tale of blood and suffering, where hope is a fleeting illusion, and the only certainty is the abyss that awaits at the journey's end.

''When I grow up, I want to see the world!'' So says every child, one day. But much like the abyss, the world looks back. On an endless sea where islands rise and sink every day, a man with many names and a past he'd rather die than reveal tries to survive. He wonders what will finally do him in-the world, or his lies?
