In a world full of chaos, will they be able to find the perfect power play?
Quinn Hughes is known as the hockey world's hot shot Canuck defenseman. He's use to the pressure that comes with being the captain of his team and what it means to be all in on the ice. With all the weight on his shoulders and mindset dialed in, a rough slam to the boards takes him from Vancouvers on ice hero to a member of Injury Reserve. What will Quinn do when his mind is finally forced to think about himself instead of hockey?
Monica Riley grew up a small towner. She's not accustomed to big cities or life in the spotlight. What she is use to? Independence and fast paced life or death calls. After months of convincing from her friends Monica finally decided to leave her minuscule hometown for the quick moving Vancouver. Only, the town seems to be giving her a whole lot of grief instead the rush she had wanted.
When one traumatizing phone call comes in to the dispatch center she works for. Monica is forced to decide if being in Vancouver is what she really wants.
