Set in Victorian Paris, five unlikely friends band together to solve mysteries and crimes. Living at the top of the Eiffel Tower, a runaway Duchess, a pickpocket, a mechanic, an acrobat and a medium use their special talents, trying to avoid dangers on their crazy adventures. However, danger is coming, children going missing on the streets. Can the team put their differences, and feelings for each other, aside and try to find the kidnapper before it's too late?

Some of the dialogues are from Jane Austen's novel and/or Jon Jones's film adaptation but most of the text is a retelling (and departure from the original) in my own words. This is my adaptation of the original book "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux. The book is now in the Public Domain. I have edited it for grammar and deleted a few parts that didn't contribute much to the story. I also changed the ending a bit. The illustrations are original pen and ink drawings by me. The story is not a "great romance," like the publicity from the stage play would like you to think. It is more of a crime/mystery/detective story.
