Evelyn Smith considers every day she survives at her Mormon school and with her Mormon parents and seven siblings a successful day. Her only goal is to try and cosplay the perfect Mormon daughter for her parents. And she's content with that, as long as she has her best friend Hannah by her side. The two met when they were little kids and have been joined at the hip ever since, and Evelyn can't imagine life without her. She mourns the fact everyday that one day she will have to find a way to love a boy more than she loves Hannah. But eventually she learns that maybe she doesn't have too.
