Katniss is homeless. Ever since her family has died, she has struggled to find a job and a way to get money. She doesn't even have relatives. One of her family's old friends, Haymitch, also happens to be a principal at the public school in district twelve.
He said he can enroll her for free.
Katniss accepts.
This way, she can get at least a meal a day, and learn some survival skills.
She has never been good at making friends, so she just kind of puts her head down and doesn't talk to anyone.
It's clear she's depressed.
There's only one person that can cure her.
It's one day that Peeta Mellark, the most popular guy at school decides to uncover the mystery named Katniss Everdeen, and changes her life forever.

This is a story about Everlark. Here is my own interpretation of how Peeta and Katniss realistically rekindle after Mockingjay Part 2, but with a twist. They both have a myriad of problems and don't know how to cope with them alone. When Peeta has an un-expected flashback and attacks a vulnerable Katniss, can she cope when he has to go away? Can Katniss recover alone? Can she learn to love again? Can they consolidate and finally find peace? That's the ultimate goal: peace.
