Benny is the adopted son of Rosalie and Emmett Hale. After years of longing for a child, they finally decided to adopt and visited an orphanage, where they found a baby that no one wanted rumored to be cursed. The moment Rosalie saw him, she knew he was meant to be theirs. The entire Cullen family quickly grew to love him, and oddly, Jasper wasn't affected by his blood.
As Benny grew, it became clear he was no ordinary child. His intelligence far surpassed his age, and he possessed a unique ability perfect recall, allowing him to remember everything he had ever experienced in vivid detail. Life with the Cullens was peaceful, until everything changed with the arrival of Bella Swan.
